This is a completely un-planned and spontaneous painting which simply started out with a coat of gesso primer, and the irresistible temptation to add colour to the still wet paint. The dark blue mixed through the gesso creating interesting swirls and brush stokes. I added some aqua for contrast and out of nowhere this painting came to life. Sometimes you just have to let your creative process take over and trust your instincts.
