Blue Billabong

"Blue Billabong" is from my series of large format paintings based on light filtering through trees, and landscapes. This one is mostly made up of dabs of colour, in an almost "pixelated" style. I originally started painting the tree trunks with thick dripping paint to emulate peeling bark, I liked this, so left it, so this is a bit of a combination of two seperate styles, or techniques. Probably breaking the art rules, but that's what art rules are for.... to be broken. 

Please allow approximately 2 weeks for me to have this painting stretched onto a support frame before sending.
