Thick, rich blue and green oil paint manipulated around the canvas to create abstract palm trees. Painted at a time when there was a cyclone in north Queensland, and we were feeling the effects of it in Brisbane. The wind and rain were hitting hard on the windows, meanwhile I was painting up a storm in my studio. No white paint used to keep the colours clean and fresh.
